The category is "TV News Programs and Documentaries" with the movie "The Bulgarian Coast"


"The Bulgarian coast" is a 50-minutes movie about Bulgarian coast. "The Bulgarian Coast" is separated to 5 key chapters which are about eighteen Bulgarian coastal towns and resorts and all the video was made from the air, the sea and land. The chapters are:

1. Green Nature
2. Message trough the centuries
3. Summer memories
4. Hot summer
5. Business opportunities


The movie has Russian and Еnglish audio dubbing versions too.

Aboout Festival:


The traditional International Television Festival for News Programs and Documentaries will be held from 4th – 8th June, 2008 at the Black Sea Albena resort in Bulgaria.

The goal of the Festival is to select and reward the best of the productions from all over the world which were produced during the past year. Good ideas and scenarios, new formats and the professional implementation of the programs will be evaluated.

Each organization, television channel, independent producer or authorized distributor may participate in the following categories:

1. News programs
2. Publicism
2. News coverage
3. Documentary programs/Investigations
4. Weather programs

5. Sports news programs and documentaries

Each applicant admitted to the competition program should make a presentation of the competition entry of not more than six minutes' duration to the Festival Jury and audience (video material in AVI format/ slide show/moderator to present the media).

NEW! All programs should be uploaded on the Festival site www.mediamixx.info in the participation form and they should not be more than 700MB. All materials will be available on-line for visitors to the website.

A compulsory condition is that all programs with text are to be with subtitles or voice over in the English language. Programs in a language other than English, without subtitles or voice over shall be rejected.

Competition entrants should submit the following additional materials during the Festival:

NEW! Presentation of the program (trailer) up to 3 minutes on digital format (AVI format on CD/DVD). If the program wins an award, the material will be shown during the Award Ceremony.

The Festival will adjudge the following prizes:

* Grand Prix for the Best Television program of the Festival
* First Prize for the best broadcast in each individual category;
* Special prizes of the jury
* NEW! Award for the program with the largest number of viewers' votes in the Festival website www.mediamixx.info.

Entry forms must be completed directly on www.mediamixx.info not later than 16th May, 2008.

The Rules & Regulations have been rewritten, please read them very carefully.
